Should I Fight My Massachusetts Criminal Charge?

What Are My Options to Defend My Criminal Charges?

Is it Worth it to Fight My Criminal Charges?

It is understandable that you may not know what to do.  If you can fight the charges, then you will, but you don't want to spend the time or money if there is no reasonable chance of beating the charges.

The last thing anyone wants is to fight the charges for the sake of fighting, and then find yourself a year down the road in exactly the same position.

We have been doing this for a very long time and can quickly recommend a course of action as part of the free consultation.  We may tell you that a plea is your best option or that yours is a case worth putting on a path to trial.

Sometimes, it is worth taking a shot at conducting discovery (getting information and documents from the prosecution) to see if there are any issues that can be developed or pursuing a Motion to Suppress or a Motion to Dismiss that could potentially be successsful.

Keep in mind that the same plea will most likely be available to you up through trial, so there is little risk involved with developing and pursuing potential issues to maximize your chances of a good result, although it could  delay your ability to get back on the road and move on with your life.
